Inflation in Laos grew 1.57% in February

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The Year-on-Year Consumer Price Index (CPI) of Laos continued to grow in February, with the rising price of imported clothes and shoes as the main driving force behind this increase, according to a report from the Lao National Statistics Bureau.

In its latest inflation report posted on its website, the bureau, part of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, indicated that inflation grew by 1.57 percent in February, up from 1.50 percent in January.
